I'm delighted and surprised  to hear that you score CelNav  5 versus 9 for  films. Total revelataion to me. I also love films (totally underated great art form, in my humble opinion) and more so, books and medicine and the history of science and philosophy and literature. but hey, Navlist rules in terms of addictive devotion and actually, given the intellectual range of many of you guys, covers most important things.

Perhaps we should consider broadening the scope of appropiate topics to include "all subjects of  interest to Navlist members if the subject broadens the overall intellectual position of the member  and their contribution to Cel Nav and Navlist." just dreaming. I have always believed in open cross functional collaboration in science (that's what I did during my productive med research years). See Sir Paul Nurse (Nobel medicine) latest job heading the new Francis Crick Institute in London. the way forward, I think for science. (He was 2 years ahead of me at Birmingham University. We now have 6 Nobel Lauriates) .Vive la Science!
