    Hi Frank,
    Neat!
I’m constantly amazed by the sensitivity of modern electronics but automatic infrared detection of dim stars during the day is a whole new level.
I wonder how much abuse a modern all electronic ship could soak up today? I was on an early 60’s ship in the late 60’s and much of the support equipment was electrical. We were more fragile than the remaining WWII ships with mostly steam equipment.
Maybe someone can hide a Davis MK 3 to find the way home.
    Regards, Noell
