Yes, that should happen soon. And also, you can check to see if the coordinates for Curiosity change since... you know... it's a rover. That 0.0001° precision is about 20 feet on the ground. Presumably the position data is pulled, eventually, from a NASA website, perhaps via the corresponding Wikipedia article. Does the app author update this manually? Or is it taken from an automated feed? You should be able to determine that after a few weeks. I suspect, though, that these coordinates match the rover's location on day one. How far has it travelled since then?? How much would this affect local solar time (not that they would keep local time for mission planning ...but maybe worth knowing as a "curiosity").
