We have a swallow family in its 4th successive year finding its old nest to the nearest inch in our roof
Francis. We get a similar thing with blue tits including hiding in the box on cold nights before the nest building season. However, I can’t help wondering if it’s the same offspring, or is it just that all blue tits are adept at spotting 1” dia holes to fly into. DaveP
