June 21, 2026, at 08:24 UTC is the WINTER Solstice for those of us living upside down in the "Down Under" part of the globe. The Sun will be at 54° East longitude (and 23.44° North latitude). This subsolar point is over Saudi Arabia, near its border with the United Arab Emirates.
