Dear Glen,
Looks like there is some explanation of the varibles used - on the next page to the table. Could you please quote the text related to P and Q? (or, - better yet - to show the whole page there)
As of now - I'm pretty confident in my opinion (about the role of P and Q variables) but I cannot understand why the usual formulas (for the mean anomaly and mean ecliptic longitude) give either the negative sign or slightly differing values.
