After watching parts 2 and 3 I have to give the team leader a bad mark for issuing Shackleton period clothing to the team. Several members of the team got frost bite. Losing a digit just isn't worth it for this small detail. Enjoyed the show. For those that missed it try YouTube.

Chasing Shackleton, Part 3 of 3

Watched the third and final episode. There are no celestial navigational details to review.
In part 3, the team crosses South Georgia Island on foot, tracing the path blazed by Shackleton and Worsley. The views are stunning. I've read the story many times but seeing the actual locales is wonderful.
Of the three episodes, part 2 has the most to offer navigationally, followed by part 1.
I would recommend this to anyone who has the slightest interest in heroic navigation and perseverance in the face of adversity. Its worth a look.
