I am new to celestial navigation and need to choose a timepiece. A totally accurate 24-hr digital watch (wrist or on lanyard) that can be set to the second and can store and recall, or at least freeze the display until recorded, a marked time for sight, would be ideal. If it happens to have a thermometer function that would be a plus but not a deciding factor.
