I wrote this to a few friends perhaps the navlist folks would like it as well.
Am in much a better more frame of mind than last year.

Not since 1623 has there been a conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter. The combined magnitudes will be intensified by earth"s atmosphere. There is speculation that this was the star of Bethlehem. This conjunction occurs this week in 2020. Might this have been the star that the wise men took to be the sign of the Messiah"s birth. At our latitude in northern hemisphere the conjunction will be near the western horizon.
Some people say that Hallies Comet was the star of Bethlehem.
For me it is a matter of faith that God the Father caused a light to shine above where the infant Jesus lay in a manger. Traditionally this is celebrated as Twelfth Night.
But figure if the conjunction occurs in the Western sky and the wise men followed the occurrence from the east proceeding west well it just makes sense to me that this along with the comet would make sense that God the Father gave us His son Jesus at the time of these naturally occurring events in order to make us mindful of the real possibility that all this happens for a reason.
