Another question for those who have one of those beautiful Hamilton mechanical chronometers: What does the error plot look like? John, I can't comment on what the error plot of my Hamilton is because I'm compulsive about keeping it wound at just about the same time every day at roughly the same spring tension. That said its rate is roughly 0.1 sec fast/24 hrs. About once per month I will reset it to either the GPS time or the time stamp on WWV.
