Attached is a reduction example using just the natural trig table and longhand multiplication to four place accuracy. The Hc reduction did fit on one side of an index card. The bad news is that it took a very long time to do. Each multiplying step had to be done twice to insure a mistake free solution. Not something to look forward to if doing a full round of stars but certainly another reduction tool to put in the bag just incase.
