    They had topographic maps, as well as charts.  I know I spent

    If I recall correctly, there used to be a big hole in the ground
    nearby, work on a large new building foundation was being held up
    because of the ships that had been moored, sunk, and buried
    during the 1849 Gold Rush.  Archaeologists were having a field
