People: You have to use common sense/seamanship! The only time the Colregs will due a pleasure boater any good is in court of law. Now if you want to trail a log line in heavy traffic waters, consider which would be better, going to court over a severed log line, getting in a fight over it, replacing the line, OR not trailing it in the first place. Sheeesh!
