1) Conjunction of Planets:
Wonder if any of you have read the book, "5/5/2000" by Richard
Noone.
The basic idea is that the planets aligning on 5/5/2000 would cause
massive disruption of the ice caps of Anartica causing a "polar
shift"
and unless you were at a special secret pivot point you would would
be
killed. This whole thing would usher in a new age where what was
left
of the world and civilization would have to start over again.
2) Second topic:
New GPS signal. Somewhere on the internet a couple of years
ago I got the exact lat and long of my house from a survey of
the post office. My GPS unit would drift around, but never be a
right on match to the post office. Now with the new GPS
signal, I am within 0.01' of the post office's position. Moveover,
the GPS readout does not drift around like it use to.
3) Third:
Read some books about WWII and the Battle of Midway Island.
Too bad we didn't have a GPS system then. A lot of lives could
have been saved.
