Hello and thank you for comments and suggestions.
The wind here is a lightest form of a breese, almost no wind, so the air temperature vs height is definately with some significant gradient. The water surface in the eastern part of the Finnish Gulf is almost smooth - no waves at all.
Because of the form of the shoreline I can't take sights before ~13:00 local time - no natural horizon there and I was unsuccessful with an artificial horizon (so far).
The sight tube I'm using (the "night" one, 3x of СНО-М) is properly focused. I do try to make sure the sextant is made vertical (by watching the Sun's arcs). I've checked the shades to NOT affect the IE (I removed my DIY polariser shade and re-installed the original glass).
For the SR I use my TI-83 with a set of formulas (a long-term almanac, St.Hilaire method), so it also should be considered as a possible source for errors...
I take a sight, notice the UT, enter it to the TI-83 ethemerides, apply all the HS corrections and proceed to St.Hilaire against my GPS position. An iOS version of the AntiSpoof would help greatly! :)
Regards,
Tony
