Not being an expert navigator, I am confused, why isn't the sky red? Does anyone have a copy of the "the snout of the whale" star almanac? who made those exoplanets? Does your sextant have an artifical horizon? The clock sounds kinda crappy. Wouldnt an accurate tme hack be most useful? Position could be reverse engineered. Will anyone be alive in 258 years when the signal arrives at Earth? What Az El Range to load in the guidance computer accounting for changes in position in another 258 years? Is it worth the trouble to visit a star bleached skull?
