My old German dad, who was a a surveyor, gave a Curta to me in 1972. I was not allowed to use it on my college final exams. All computations by hand- show your work; ugh!
In the canyons of my mind, (actually more like a small ditch), I think of it like the Enigma of WWII. Kinda fascinating.
Still kinda fascinated though, by an E6B......
