To what extent are you boat owners, sailors, voyagers, etc. who pursue navigation to actually operate their boats?
I own a Catalina C400 (40') sailboat. I currently operate on the Great Lakes so there is no real need for celestial navigation here, but I am hoping to do an around-the-world cruise someday. I'm not sure whether it will be on my own boat or on someone else's.
