Hi Tony, I'm no expert, but have been using this for some time (pre-programmed on a Casio fx-3650P. I use it to quickly check my sun/moon fixes (using lunars for time) which is my eccentric hobby. ) You do not need simultaneous H1 and H2 as far as I know. The GHA and H (and I suppose Dec) vary with time anyway. I do use "simultaneous" H1 H2 for my moon/sun fixes, but that is because I like to use a lunar generated GMT (no clock method). I then get my 2 Hcs to get my fix. The 2 body time sight fix does not need that as far as I can see. Anyway, it seems to work fine with me. Just enter the H1 H2, decs (+N, -S) and GHAs as they are. Should work. Hope that is correct. Apologies if I have it wrong. No doubt one of the real experts will know. Francis
