Wow! The only reason I searched for and downloaded the Win 7 calculator was because I did not see the DMS key on the Win 10 version. I expected it to be visible upon switching to scientific mode, just like in Win 7. Therefore, the above statement puzzled me. It never even occurred to me to hit the "shift" key to find both the DMS and "deg" keys. This is also the main reason I thought of it as "much less useful". (There are still a couple of other minor differences.) I will probably continue to use the Win 7 calculator since I already have it and it's more familiar to me ... but thank you for mentioning that the newer version also has DMS capability.

That is correct. The Win 7 and 10 calculators also preserve the mode they were in when you last closed them.
