The Army note has to be in error. IF all LOPS pass to the right or left and
they are within 180. How could you be in the triangle.
I used my Franklin Piloting Tecnique tosee if I could get a fix out of their
non fix bearings I printed the bearing on to a sheet of paper. Using a protractor I read off the bearings. I use the general placing of the good bearing example above on thier folder to set the A ,B,C, radio finding station at the end of each bearing. That gave me the stations and the cocked hat of the bearings. I used the small intersection of A&B for my Fix and took a bearing from my fix to C finding a five degree EAST error.
( the LOP passed to the fix, right,East Error must add to correct.)
I replotted for a 3 pointer and the correct position. I can not believe they
use the Bisection or Steiner Point to find the best position.
