Image 11 was taken through 1/8" white plex. Image 17 was taken
through a sextant filter. The wind was onshore at 5 to 7 knots. The
ocean temperature was 65� F. The rough edges of the suns perimeter are
most likely the result of zooming and the 7 mega pixel limit of the
camera. The graininess is the result of the high ISO 800 setting. No
sun spots were observed.
Sounds like you had quite a gathering. I hope they didn't drink
all of your single malt.
