George,
When the next Santana blows (That's what an east wind is called
here in Southern California) I will take a picture of the sun for you.
The season for Santana winds runs from late fall through winter and
can reach velocities of 75 knots.
I can not locate the original digital photo of Picture 11.PNG. I
must have deleted it somewhere along the way. I have forwarded a
similar photo to you off list.
