It would be nice to have N/S & E/W, but I presume it’s N & E. One degree lat = 60nm, so 0.0001 degrees = 60x6080/10,000ft= 36ft, a bit less for longitude at 40N. I didn't try to watch the film, but four places of decimals is reasonable for scrubland miles from anywhere in North Korea. You’d need a helicopter to get there. Want to check? Just put 40.1326N 123.9889 into Google Earth. I couldn’t see anyone waving. Isn’t science wonderful? Dave
Digits in The Interview

So I'm watching The Interview (watch it here), the bawdy comedy which has been in the news of late. In it a meeting is arranged by phone at specified latitude and longitude coordinates. The North Korean representative proposes that they will meet at latitude 40.1326, longitude 123.9889. Are these reasonable coordinates? And is the precision of the coordinates appropriate for setting up this meeting?
