The 2102D certainly has many extensions. An astute observer such as yourself can clearly observe sunrise and sunset on it, once LHA Aries has been properly set. But therein lies the difference between the two devices. The Dunlap Sunrise Sunset Computer is 100% self contained. The sun's GHA for 1200 hours is tabulated directly on the back of the device, as well as the sun's declination, for the entire year. Unless the extension to the 2102D somehow includes that information (of course, it could), reference to the Nautical Almanac will be required!
