While Dutton's is no longer used at the Naval Academy you will find a
copy on every Navy ship and we also use it at the Fleet Training Centers
where we train the Quartermasters that actually navigate the ships.
(Very little navigation is done by officers in the Navy, however
Quartermasters still do celestial everyday in addition to using
electronics.)

Navigation and Nautical Astronomy

This text was prepared for the instruction of midshipmen at the US Naval
Academy since at least 1926. There are many editions.
I doubt it is used now if what I hear about the discontinuation of
teaching celestial navigation is true. Amazing if true.
Anyway, there it is.
You should be able to find a very cheap copy on any number of used book
stores on the internet.
