Hi Folks
Here we go again – Purdue Univ spending more money on a wild goose chase …. Chasing down conspiracy theories….. their money but alas the evidence just does not stack up in support of that hypothesis.
Occam's Razor continues to provide the most 'logical' hypothesis based on the 'facts' we know.
Just to wet your appetite on conspiracies, have a look at the disappearance of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith– believed to have crashed somewhere near Aye Island off the coast of Myanmar. The wreckage has never been found.
As a military navigator with over 4000 hours of flying some in that general area in an aircraft of similar navigation aids... the simple logic is that they ran out of fuel NW of Howland Island. It aint rocket science.
