    Charles,

You didn't mention what the HP of the Moon is for your example. So, assuming a value of 54.6', here's how I've been doing it:

    1) Lookup value for first correction: 46°39.5' = +49.3'

    2) Lookup value for second correction, lower limb: 54.6' = +2.1'

    3) Add those two values to get total lower limb correction: 49.3' + 2.1' = +51.4'

    4) Lookup value for second correction, upper limb: 54.6' = +2.4'

    5) Subtract 30' and add above value to first correction to get total upper limb correction: 49.3' - 30' = +19.3'; 19.3' + 2.4' = +21.7'

    6) Add the total lower and upper limb corrections and divide by two to get the average: 51.4' + 21.7' = +73.1'; 73.1' / 2 = +36.55'

    Hope that helps!

    Regards,

    Sean C.
