www.opencpn.org is not an ECDIS, is an ECS agree with IHO S52 compliant display of S57 vector charts.I have a notebook in my sloop with bluetooth GPS, and OpenCPN runs fine, is great.Also I have an Android tablet that has GPS + GLONASS, and the accuracy is better than GPS alone.Therefore, small boats can also access to these systems at reduced prices.Using the GPX utility, you can plot celestial, coastal, RDF LoPs.
