I finally found my ideal stopwatch on ebay a few weeks ago. It is called a "Diamond" mechanical stop watch (ebay item 281174523364) and is brand new in the box for £40. It is made in China, so you know it will be rock-solid reliable and last many lifetimes. But it does just what I want it to do - starts, stops, tells me the elapsed time and NOTHING MORE. Moreover, no electrons are harmed when using this watch. The phrase "brand new mechanical stopwatch" is pretty much an oxymoronic statement these days, so I was very pleased to find this.Now do you have any thoughts on what makes an ideal stopwatch for celnav?
