Failure to contact off-list.

I'm using Navlist to try to discover why an attempt to send a message
off-list to Gary LaPook has failed.
The message itself was quite inconsequential. It didn't really matter
whether it got to him or not, to either of us. But the fact that a
seemingly valid message has aborted is in itself serious. It's not the
first time that a US network has rejected such messages.
Would Gary kindly make off-list contact with me, please, to try to
establish what's gone wrong. In case I am unable to send further email
messages to him, a telephone number might be useful, or perhaps an
alternative email address..
