I recently acquired a 1938 Fairchild Maxson Line of Position Computer and all I can find about it online is there were only 24 made for the Army Air and they were cancelled due to space and weight issues and there are only 2 known to exist, 1 in the Smithsonian and 1 privately owned. Referenced in a June 19th 2019 article on your site. Also, Howard Hughes used one of these on his around the world flight. I am looking for more info on this thing and how do I find out if I obtained the 1 privately held computer or did I find another one making it 3 known to exist? Also, how would I find out if this is the unit that Howard Hughes used? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
