Cannot find it now, but earlier today, I came on an old NavList post including some comments from you on calculators and slide rules. I have a box full of convential slide rules, 10" type, plus a single 5" pocket rule along with several circular slide rules, the latter being less common. Also have 3 electronic calculators, an HP 50g, that I was barely on speaking terms with, ditto for for a TI 36 XPro, and a 30 plus year old HP 11c that at one time I used extensively in a former incarnation as a Piping Designer. I also used the 11c for celnav calculations, sight reductions. Slide rules, with which I'm not particularly familiar, continue to fascinate me, some folks are easily amused. Batteries are not required, and where a couple of decimal places will suffice, slide rules are quite handy.Also, considering the fact that they are sort of ancient history, they continue to amaze me, though I might be to easily amused.
