Robin,
Your note is a big help. Occultation and GMT time extraction methods are new to me. But I haven't inventing a new problem, so I fished around astronomy sources for graphical representation of finding the moon's topocenter with the givens you mention. This figure is the closest I have found yet. It was not drawn to illustrate Occultation calculations but it seems to have the essential elements of where I need to start. Is this right? The topocentric point (observer) is at the 90-phi point. The moon's geocentric point is at E.
