    Doug,

    I have recently taken an interest in celestial, also just learning and become aware Venus can be see by day. However I have not been able to see it until about 1500 (near meridial passage). Never used binoculars but not managed to see it at for instance 1400 when I know it is about 15 degrees to the East. I see no reason for this. Any ideas?
