I saw a MK3 retrofit with the simple scope off the pricier plastic one (mark 15 or 25?). Looks like it required some creativity and minor surgery....plus if you wear reading glasses like me a magnifier helps read the vernier better.
Mines decades old and as good as new..I .put into an old flare kit case with foam to prevent warping.
