First a Humber grounding, then a collision

There are three interesting tussles going on around the Humber tonight19.00UT Saturday 15th Mar on ‘Marine Radar’ AIS Chanel.   ‘H&S WISDOM’ has been aground off Brough for a week awaiting a spring tide. Tonight, she’s surrounded by tugs and similar craft, so they must have decided to give it a go to refloat her.  Meanwhile, just outside the Humber ‘Stena Immaculate’ is anchored, buoyed, and attended by various vessels in case she drags.  Lower down the coast off Mablethorpe you can see where the burned-out shell of ‘Solong’, must have drifted from the plethora of tugs standing by.  You won’t find her; she’s unable to transmit.  Her Russian Skipper was in Court today charged with Gross Negligence Manslaughter.  As might be  expected, many of the tugs are Dutch.  DaveP
