Since attending Frank's most recent lunars workshop, the sky has been cloudy and the moon wasn't 'in distance' anyway. Until today. So I've done my first two clearings.
By Frank's on line app, my observations were out by 1.1 and 1.7 minutes. I also cleared the first distance by Stark tables and had a 1.8 difference to Frank's clearance, in the opposite direction. I feel that I should improve the accuracy a bit by doing the recommended 3 sights and averaging them and spending some time adjusting out any sextant errors.
