I kept out of this one. As an Aucklander born and raised it was like shooting fish in a barrel, even though things have changed somewhat in the decades since I left - such as the imported cars on the wharf. Well done Luc and David with the location ID.
But to complete the picture - the wharves are not nameless. The photogrpaher is at the base of Captain Cook Wharf and is looking across Marsden Wharf to the ship.
