Thanks, Ed, for the encouragement!
My goal of working on these tables is to create a complete SR tool - with worksheet and usage manual based on Greg's materials. I want to provide a PDF which everyone could print (preferably - doublesided) and bind obtaining an A5-sized booklet. So far it looks promising.
But as Greg suggests - it will be based on the "fixed-point" version of the table. The floating-point requires too much on the user side - consider the arc-Haversine operation with a normally written number and a user looking where it fits in the table full of bars and underlines... Could be confusing.
If I manage to write - as you suggest - the accompanying text I probably will try to adapt it to the floating-point table too. Just finished the usage hints under every part of the fixed-point table - similar to the floating-point.
Warm regards,
Tony
