Well, when I go scuba diving, we always spit on the inside of the mask…

Seriously, there are a number of compounds out there that they sell for the insides of ski goggles & such. NASA uses a dilute solution of no-tears baby shampoo for the insides of the space suit helmet ever since one of the astronauts got temporarily blinded by a drop of the old anti-fog compound they were using. Personally, if it were my Cassens & Plath, I would just use a drop of diluted shampoo. Can always clean it off if it doesn’t work.

    Hello!

Almost a year ago Rob Hansen asked how could one prevent optics from fogging. Seems nobody replied.

Yesterday I tried an evening twilight sighting and was in difficulties because of the mirrors fogging. I wanted a Moon-Pollux lunar...

    Any hints or advises?

    Regards,
    Tony
