What, you can't track me already? I'll have to get my chip checked.
I spent about half an hour down at Point Judith with about thirty other Morgan fans watching her sail by at a leisurely speed of about three knots. Winds are light today, and even with all sails up, she was not making fast enough progress. Therefore she is being towed to Newport. O the ignominy! Here's a photo of her and the tug, named "Sirius", by the way. In about 45 minutes I'll walk down to Fort Wetherill and watch them enter the East Passage. It's a beautiful, busy day on the waters of Narragansett Bay, so I expect the Morgan will be surrounded by spectator boats by then.
