    Dear Tony,

    Thanks a lot for the reference, this is exactly what I was looking for! I already saw that I missed an important point, which is the fact that the moon is hardly visible around new moon.

    On Steven's website the most recent tables with lunar distances are from 2015. Currently I show lunar distances for the current, previous, and next hour on my website celnav.nl, but I will try to make pdf's of lunar distances for each month and make them available on my website.
