Re this at one time "extreme design", as has been noted before, by others too, things change, and or the one constant is change. As to what I assume is the ditching of electronics, as I recall,one of the really big sail boast races had recently established a non electronic navigation class for competitors. Again, as memory serves, a boat running on non electronic navigation came in first, not first in class, but first over all.
