Ya never know... they might pick > this > weekend to turn off GPS and THEN how will you find Mystic Seaport?! Frank The usual. Follow Post Road (east) until you get there. If coming from the west, take the Merritt Parkway until Milford, CT. (I recall cruising that between my studio in Westport and my condo in Milford [Walnut/Silver Beaches] in my Triumph 750 MC days--it's "New England scenic." ) 95 is faster, but... If you have some time, check out Rudy's (if it still exists, the bar so often mentioned in Doonesbury)) near Yale in New Haven. Also a delight, the shuttle boat (tour) of the Thimble Islands. Twenty years ago the boat was captained by a former NYC actor in his cups. No megaphone needed. Doubt he still exists on this mortal coil, but if you want to rub shoulders with wealthy teenie-boppers back from an on "onshore" shopping spree, and view the (one year if recall) summer residence of a former US of A president take in the glam kids. Stop in Milford and check out the old stone bridge below the pond and waterfall. Honest to God, an "etched in stone" reference to a Reverend married to a Miss "Hooker." Sally if memory serves. Perhaps between 1600 to 1700? Send photos if you make it. And if there is a God in heaven, how about a live web feed of the Chicago "Numbers" and Wichita "Fly Boy" pool match? How will two list gurus navigate the long green? Rhumb line or great-circle route? Is the Coriolis force a factor on a big ol' slate-bed pocket-billiards table? Will set ups off the cushions be a consideration? Will sun/moon gravitational affects be factored in? Who has the greatest control of cue-stick Dutch roll? Like chess, will there be a time limit on computations between ball moves? I understand wagering is illegal in most states, but for the line visit: FERbetonline1to3.com West Lafayette "Slim"
