Well, let's see... d is the rate of change in the spherical triangle
solution per degree of declination change. So if we convert 45 minutes to degrees by
dividing by 60 and then multiply by d... yep, I get 36. So the formula would
be
correction = (minutes/60)*d.
I don't have any sight reduction tables here to check against. Try a few
other examples, and let me know if it works.
