Fred Espenak posted a photo of earthshine on the crescent moon taken yesterday evening (early evening twilight 4 Jan 2022 local date in Arizona). Fred lives near Portal, Arizona in a small community with a lot of private observatories called "Arizona Sky Village". So here's a little nautical astronomy-related challenge. Given the location, can you determine the GMT/UT? Suppose we imagine that his chronometer at the time of this photo read 1:13:00. From this "lunar like" observation, what is the correction to the chronometer?
