From an accurate pixel count from this specific photo, I wish to know the angular distance between the 4 o'clock star (HD ) and Lady Moon's far Limb.

I did save the original image, and the pixel count from the 4-o'clock star to the far limb is about 966.5 pixels.  With the plate scale of 2.691 arcseconds/pixel, this gives about 43.35' angular distance.  This was done by just picking a few points along the far limb and looking for the maximum distance, so I'd caution that it's not the best value that could be obtained, but it's probably better than nothing.  :-)

    Cheers,
    Peter
