My understanding of Frank’s fantastic GPS Anti Spoof app is that it displays what should appear on the sextant (Hs). Does that mean when using the app as a substitute for an actual sextant measurement, one must still correct the displayed reading before computing an intercept? I’m specifically wondering about refraction, since several other corrections can be specified in the app’s settings.
