Apropos above comments, I'm given to recall the following cartoon. This lovely motor yatch was hard aground. A salvage vessel was standing by, the boats owner was speaking to the salvor, their conversation ran as follows. Boat Owner: I can't understand how this happened. My GPS said the course to steer was 180, which was what I steered. The salvage operator, thinking to himself asked if there were any charts of the area traversed at hand?
